Brand Campaign
Those familiar with the McAlister’s Deli brand love it almost as much as they love sweet tea. So when we were tasked with spreading the word about McAlister's in a way that highlighted the genuine, welcoming experience that keeps their loyal fans keep coming back, we knew the only authentic way to do that was to use real-life employees and guests.
We filmed testimonial-style interviews (putting my semester as a journalism major to good use) and created three different spots with three unique and unscripted perspectives on what makes McAlister's such a special place.
While fans of McAlister's love it for the friendly faces, small-town charm, and flavorful menu that come standard, when the app and loyalty program stopped working properly, no amount of McAlister's famous sweet tea could make things right.
That is until we created an entirely new app and rewards program that was more user-friendly and, well, way more rewarding.
Fun Facts
In the first week of launch, we had over 154K downloads and made it to #35 on the App Store Top Charts for Food & Beverage.
